The troubling downward trend in collections reached a new low in November, with the total weekly contributions for the month down 32.6% from a year ago. Through the first five months of this fiscal year contributions are now running 13.8 % behind a year ago. More importantly, the total contributed this year so far is 23.8% below the amount that has been budgeted. To those who continue to give, your ongoing support is most appreciated. Unfortunately, the apparent indifference by many to the parish’s financial needs remains a great concern, as such lack of universal support seriously jeopardizes the financial stability of YOUR PARISH. We ask that EVERY PARISHIONER try to be as generous as you can in supporting the financial needs of your parish. Thank you very much.

The troubling downward trend in collections continued through October, with the total weekly contributions for the month down 8.2% from a year ago. Through the first four months of this fiscal year contributions are now running 7.2% behind a year ago. More importantly, the total contributed this year so far is 18.9% below the amount we had budgeted. If this trend is not reversed, the parish’s financial stability can be adversely affected as the year progresses. While efforts continue to keep all costs under control, there is only so much that can be offset through such initiatives. Your ongoing support, especially as we begin to enter the holiday season, is greatly appreciated. Please try to be as generous as you can in supporting the financial needs of your parish. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, the downward trend in collections continued through September, with the total weekly contributions for the month down 6.6% from a year ago and 11.8% below budget. Through the first quarter of this fiscal year, contributions are now running 6.9% behind those from a year ago. More importantly, the total contributed this year so far is 13.7% below the amount we had budgeted for the first quarter. If this trend is not reversed, the parish’s financial stability can be adversely affected as the year progresses. While efforts continue to keep all costs under control, there is only so much that can be offset through such initiatives. Your ongoing support is greatly appreciated, so please try to be as generous as you can in supporting the financial needs of your parish. Thank you very much.
