CHOICE

My name is Alex Amato and I am a student at Loyola Academy. My classmates Will King, his twin brother Briggs and I founded C.H.O.I.C.E. Chicago - a program that uses computers to help underprivileged youth. We would like to ask Ss. Faith Hope & Charity parishioners to support our organization.

C.H.O.I.C.E. is an acronym standing for Computers Helping Optimize Inner City Education. CHOICE's mission is to help inner city children whose educational opportunities are limited by donating computers to their local schools. C.H.O.I.C.E. contacts inner city schools within Chicago and gives computers and other hardware to them based on their need. We are looking for any functioning computers (or laptops) that FHC's parishioners do not want or need anymore, so we can give them to the children. If you only have a monitor, a tower (Windows 98 or later), or accessories - such as mouses, or keyboards - we will gladly take them. Once this equipment is given to us, we erase all personal information on the computer, to ensure privacy. We will pick up parishioners' donation; do not drop them off at the Rectory.

Please contact us at choicechicago@aol.com, with your contact information and what items you can give us. You can learn more about our organization on our web site www.choicechicago.org
