Youth Ministry

2010-2011 Education / Formation Commission Ministries

Adult Faith
There are various opportunities for adults to participate in faith sharing events and groups in the Parish. These can be found in the weekly bulletins. Examples include the Lenten Small Discussion Groups, the Vision 2000 groups, Scripture walks, and book reviews.

Youth Ministry
The youth ministry program commits itself to ongoing opportunities to create spiritual leaders and participants in the church among teenage high school students. Our mission is to bridge the gap between all teenagers to form one community where high school teens are welcomed, accepted and loved. Our ministry offers opportunities for teens to build a relationship with themselves and others leading to a relationship with Christ. Our goal is to continually create a place where teens can call their own.

Parish School (Katie Carden, Principal)
The parish school from Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade has an enrollment of approximately 350 students. The students in the school learn a way of life, one that reflects Catholic spiritual and moral development as well as academic curiosity and achievement. There are many opportunities for parents, grandparents and parishioners to be involved in the school.

Religious Education Program (Susan Doubet, Director)
This program serves over 650 children of our parish and is focused on faith, formation and family. There are over 100 catechists and 55 teens who give their time and talent to this ministry. There are many short and long-term volunteer needs including catechists, service project coordinators, and many one time events.
