Hi,
I'm Jeanne Smith
I graduated Western Illinois
University with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree.
My post-graduate work was completed at Dominican University.
I received a Master’s of Art in Educational Administration.
I currently hold certification for teaching Kindergarten through
ninth grade and a supervisory Type 75. I have taught in the
Archdioceses of Chicago for 21 years.
I
have taught pre-school, second grade, fourth/fifth grade and
middle school/junior high. Middle school/junior high academic
subjects that I have taught span religion, geography, American
history, art, keyboarding, speech, literature/reading, spelling/vocabulary
and math.
I
received the Heart of the School award from the Archdiocese
of Chicago. I have been an athletic director and have coached
volleyball for seventh grades. As athletic director, I was
recording secretary of Council II-3A and helped in the documentation
of rules and guidelines for the extra-curricular athletic
programs.
I have been a
student council coordinator for eighth grade. I currently
teach seventh and eighth grade math at Saints Faith, Hope,
and Charity, and love it!!! |
