Welcome to Mrs. Uchida's Junior Kindergarten

Hello, I am Rebecca Uchida and I have been teaching in either a junior or senior kindergarten classroom since 1991. I taught for three years at Saint Ignatius School in Chicago, but, upon it’s closing, moved to Saint Joan of Arc in Evanston, where I taught full-day kindergarten for five years. In 1999, I took a year off from teaching kindergarten and, instead, explored my interest in technology. I ran the technology lab at Middlefork School in Northfield, working with kindergarteners through third graders. The next year, I returned to teaching kindergarten at Middlefork School. In 2001, I worked at Sears School in Kenilworth in a junior/senior kindergarten classroom. Since 2002, I have been teaching at Saints Faith, Hope, and Charity School in the junior kindergarten classroom, where I enjoy working, singing, counting, praying, and playing with four and five year olds. This year I am pleased to be working with Mrs. Balcerzak in both the morning and afternoon JK classes.
