Welcome to Mrs. Nimrod's Senior Kindergarten

Hi, I’m Mary Nimrod. I’ve been teaching at Faith, Hope and Charity for nine years. I’m looking forward to another exciting year! I am happy to be teaching with Kathy Elbert and Betty Ann Shanley. The children are delightful and always anxious to learn. Our full day kindergarten program is enabling me to use our time to its fullest to build the foundation needed for a successful transition from kindergarten to first grade. This is accomplished with love, support, fun and curiosity! Also having taught first grade for several years, I’m seeing firsthand the benefits all day kindergarten has in preparing the children academically, socially, and emotionally for their grade school years and beyond.

My name is Kathy Elbert. I have been the Senior Kindergarten teacher's aide for 19 years. It is a rewarding experience to observe the students at the beginning of their spiritual and academic experiences, and then to see their progress in knowledge and faith through the years at Faith Hope.
I am an active member of St. Joseph's parish and strongly believe in Catholic education.
