Support Services
We provide
support to students who have been professionally identified
with learning disabilities. As and educational team of teachers,
parents, and evaluation staff (from private sources or the public
school districts), we work together to develop and implement
an appropriate educational plan.
The Learning Lab staff provides support for the grade-level
classroom curriculum across all grade levels. The staff is available
to classroom teachers in the classroom setting during classroom
instruction. Alternative study techniques and tools, as well
as alternate and modified evaluation methods are techniques
introduced to the students.
The Learning Lab also provides individual and small group instruction
(re-teach and review) to support each grade level curriculum.
Working to reinforce and improve study skills appropriate to
the classroom curriculum is a goal of the Learning Lab.
The staff of the Learning Lab also acts as a liaison between
students, parents, teachers, and our public school districts.
The Learning Lab staff strives to work as a team by providing
additional educational opportunities for students with learning
differences.
