Who:
Any high school teen (must be 14 to apply)
 What:
A week of service and reflection
When:
June 22-28
Where:
Home site - St. Scholastica
Work sites - Various places in the Chicagoland area
Why:
There are so many people around us that need our help, but sometimes we overlook the good that can be done just beyond the comfort of our own neighborhoods and communities. Teen Service Week gives us an opportunity to help people that live on the edge of poverty and come to understand why we are called to service in Christ’s name.
How:
By joining together with our friends and neighbors and by keeping Christ in our hearts.

ˆ Back to Top |
The Summer Habitat for Humanity service trip is an excellent opportunity for high school teenagers to learn valuable life skills while deepening their faith and becoming involved in community service and
social justice. They will spend a week living simply in fellowship with their peers while helping those
in need. Come to learn how your involvement in this exciting summer trip can make our service even more successful during this short informational meeting!
This Summer Habitat for Humanity Service Trip from July 6 to July 12 is a week spent doing direct or indirect service for the less fortunate communities specific to Saint Joseph and Ss. Faith, Hope and Charity Parishes.
A great opportunity for reflection and simple living.
Again, cost is TBA, but there has been a great response to this event.
