Bereavement Ministry (Molly D’Esposito 446-0531 & Noel Moran 446-2608)
Offers comfort and assistance to our parish families following the death of a loved one.
Blood Drive (Mary Whiston, 412-0434)
Sponsors a blood drive every year; Conducted by LifeSource.
Elizabeth Ministry (Mary Armato, 501-2847)
Outreach ministry to women during their childbearing years through personal phone calls and/or visits.
Ministers of Care (Marian Cornyn, 446-2946 & Sue Martin, Pastoral Staff)
Distribute Communion to the sick, at home, in local hospitals and nursing homes.
Respect Life (Mary Armato 501-2847 & Debbie Buck, 784-1403, Co-chairs)
Inform, educate and inspire those who may be uninformed on issues regarding abortion, euthanasia, and capital punishment and the value of human life in all its forms and conditions.
Sharing Committee Activities (Jerry Prassas, 441-7934)
The many activities of our sharing committee include:
- Collect and deliver grocery goods to four food pantries (third Sunday of every month)
- Organize Harvest Day family festival (October) benefiting Children of Peace School.
- Cook and serve at Good News Soup Kitchen every month.
- Collect books, clothing, children’s coats and boots during special times.
- Execute Project Turkey ($10 contribution) for special Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter needs.
- Plan the Christmas Adopt-A-Family program, Giving Tree program, Tuition Angels, and Epiphany sweater collection during the holiday season.
- Collect Easter Baby Bags for new moms.
- Participate in the Rebuilding Together national day with Faith, Hope and Carpenters, a spring project which repairs a home of a needy local resident.
