Adult Programs - Explorations - War & Peace: A Trip to Cantigny

On July 19, 25 parishioners visited Cantigny Park in Wheaton to learn about the Church’s just war doctrine and to enjoy the beautiful country home of the Robert R. McCormick family, that made the Chicago Tribune the “World’s Greatest Newspaper”. Over lunch, Fr. Patrick Boyle, S.J. spoke on the doctrine of the Catholic Church concerning war and we later toured the First Division Museum. It was a day of discovery in a spectacular setting.
