Family Worship
Family Mass 10:30 a.m. Get ushers, children readers, altar servers, gift bearers. Work closely with Fr. Marty and Fr. Anderson
CCC & Parish Ministry Weekend
Suggested dates May 22/23 (Pentecost Sunday). Follow up with training.
Archdiocese 2010 Focus for Lent
Discuss formation of small groups, Vision groups.
75th Anniversary Celebration (Carol Sexton, chair)
Prepare timeline, activities/book, Mass to kick off anniversary year (2011), expanded Parish mission

2010-2011 Worship / Spiritual Life Commission Ministries

Altar Servers
Children in grades 5 and above are trained in the fall and assist at Mass. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to more fully participate.
Arts and Environment Committee
This group helps create, maintain and change the décor in sacred places for the various liturgical seasons.
Contemplative Prayer
All are welcome to join us in prayer every Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 am in the Bell Tower. Silent meditation from 9 to 9:30 and book discussion from 9:30 to 10 am.
Eucharistic Adoration Attendants/Organizers
The adoration attendants are present in church for a ½ hour period during the Eucharistic Adoration on the First Friday of the month and during the Lenten and Advent seasons.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Distributes communion to the community during Mass; training provided.
Knitting Ministry
Join us in the beautiful task of creating prayer shawls for those in need of comfort and support.
Lectors
Proclaim the scriptures at Mass, read the Prayers of the Faithful and announcements. Schedule is flexible but normally once or twice a month.
Lenten Small Discussion Groups
During the 2010 Lenten season, our Parish will be gathering people together in small faith sharing groups to read and discuss the Sunday Scripture readings. This will take place over a six week period beginning the week of February 14 through March 27, 2010.
Music Ministries and Choirs
Many varied opportunities to participate in the Parish through singing, playing an instrument or ringing bells.
Parish Retreats
Parish retreats are offered at various times during the year and will be listed in the bulletin.
Rosary
The Rosary is prayed in common prayer (together) daily in the church. Prayer guides are available on the table in the East Transept.
Sacristans
Assist in the preparation of the altar for Mass (weekdays and/or weekends).
Ushers
Greet parishioners, assist in the collection gathering and distribute bulletins. Ushers needed for regular or seasonal assistance at all masses.
Wedding Assistance Committee
Provide support to wedding party and facilitate the use of the Parish.
