Adult Programs
As Catholic Christians, our faith is a lifelong commitment, and as we mature, our understanding changes as new questions and challenges arise. St. Paul wrote, “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; when I grew up, I gave up childish ways.” (1 Cor13:11). So it is with us.
CONTEMPLATIVE OR CENTERING PRAYER
We need to update our understanding of our faith, of scripture and church teaching beyond what we learned in grade school, and see how our faith fits into the challenge of living out our commitments to family, work, community and the world.
We all have busy lives, but Saints Faith, Hope and Charity Parish encourages you to reserve some time to grow in your faith.
Assist with Adult Faith Programs
Prayerfully consider sharing your time and talent in service to the adults of the parish by assisting with adult programs. There are jobs to fit every schedule and time commitment .
Can you help organize one or more of our “Explorations” trips? Are you able to lead a book group or Bible study? Can you arrange details with our speakers and shepherd them once they arrive? How about providing refreshments or assisting with our intergenerational events?
Our Adult Faith Committee is also looking for several new members. The commitment is one meeting a month and support of our various programs.
If you have questions, please contact the Parish
Office.
