The Newcomer’s Committee keeps active during the year by coordinating the delivering of treats to newly registered families. Each year there are over 50 new families that register in our Parish. The Committee also hosts newcomers’ gatherings and welcomes newcomers to various Parish events. This year the Committee sponsored the welcoming dinner which was held on Sunday, January 24th. Eleven new Parish families (including 15 children) attended this very fun event which included a craft table for the children. In addition to meeting each other, the new families had an opportunity to visit with the Pastor, Associate Pastor and several staff and Parish members.

The Committee is always seeking more cookie bakers to add to the list of the existing bakers. Cookies or potted plants are delivered to new Parish families on a regular basis by Fr. Marty or a Parish staff member.
