M.A.T.R.I.X. stands for Moments Around Teens Rejoicing in Christ. This youth ministry program began during the years of 1992 and 1993 when a small group of teenagers gathered for mass with Fr. Phil Cyscon in the basement of the church rectory. After that year, a priest by the name of Fr. Jeff Grob continued the small gatherings of teens for Sunday night masses which these teens soon created the mass title “MATRIX”
In 1994, Saints Faith Hope and Charity hired a full time youth minister who continued the tradition of those Sunday night masses, along with building a MATRIX youth ministry program of service, retreats and spirituality.

OUR MISSION:
The Youth Ministry program of MATRIX at Saints Faith Hope and Charity commits themselves to creating spiritual leaders in the church. Our mission is to bridge the gap between all teenagers to form one community where all teens are welcomed, accepted and loved. Our ministry offers weekly opportunities for teens to build a relationship with themselves and others leading to a relationship with Christ. Our goal is to allow every teenager to become leaders in the Church through words, action and relationship.

LOOKING FOR LEADERS:
MATRIX is looking for high school teens to get involved in the parish as Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Greeters, and Ushers for the 5 pm mass. Also, MATRIX is looking for any music talent that teens have to get involved in the music ministry for the 5 pm Sunday masses.
